Christian Mindfulness – Is it different to Mindfulness? Do you have to be a Christian to practice Christian Mindfulness?
Becoming conscious of God’s Breath giving me life and of God Holy Spirit residing within me changes the way I think and act.
Ultimately life is living in the present. – By remaining connected to the here and now and anticipating God’s voice at any moment means I am in a place to see new things and have insights into what God is wanting to teach me.
Accepting that God is the final Judge therefore letting go of trying to be God and letting go of the critical inner voice of judgement about myself and about others. Accepting that God is love personified means I can learn to love myself because He loves me and accepts me fully and in this process I learn to love God more.
Each of my five senses has been gifted to me by God. How I interact with God using my senses fills me with gratefulness.
How do I intentionally follow Jesus in my day to day? How do I make my intentions actions and take my example from the one who walked the walk and talked the talk of a fully actualized life.
There is more- more to this life than we can see, more to discover about the mystery of God and Christian mindfulness is about embarking on a journey of discovery.
